Nalco Settles in TPC Explosion Case
Attorneys representing over 2,000 victims of the 2019 TPC explosion reached a confidential settlement with Nalco. Individual compensation will follow, though payouts may take time. Further legal action remains possible. Read more here!
Dr. Elmore Named LSCO President
Dr. Wendy Elmore was appointed president of Lamar State College Orange, succeeding Tom Johnson. She begins June 1, pending board approval, bringing extensive academic leadership experience. Read more here!
Bridge City OKs $27.5M Arts Center
Bridge City ISD approved a $27.5M bond for a new high school Performing Arts Center. Funded without raising taxes, the bond leverages industrial growth while preserving teacher salaries. Read more here!
